Podospherology Videos

We at the Institute don't believe in just writing about technology in football. We also believe in demonstrating our ideas to the world. To this end we have planned a programme of video presentations and demonstrations to inform our visitors and followers and to contribute to the debate on technology in football. Each new video will be available on this page, and links will be provided to past videos.

In this, our first video, the football journalist, Carrie Baird, interviews Professor Griffin-Braemar during the World Cup on the subject of vuvuzelas, the Jabulani ball and the difficulties that players were having with controlling the ball at the time. Listen to what the professor has to say on the subject and the surprising and fascinating conclusions that his research drew. You can contribute to the discussion on Twitter, YouTube or our forum.
